On Thursday, Amnesty Worldwide mentioned Mr Mohammed was subjected to “torture” and different types of “ill-treatment” after his arrest, calling it a “deeply repressive act” that “overtly violates his human rights”. Nigerian authorities haven’t but commented on these allegations.
