Ancient Rome: Stunningly preserved bronze statues found in Italy


A lot of the statues – which have been discovered submerged beneath the baths alongside round 6,000 bronze, silver and gold cash – date to between the 2nd Century BC and the first Century AD. The period marked a interval of “nice transformation in historical Tuscany” as the world transitioned from Etruscan to Roman rule, the Italian tradition ministry mentioned.
